Autumn at Belgobaren

Autumn may well be the finest time of year on Bryggargatan. The light turns warmer, the beers turn fuller, and the kitchen finally brings out the stew pots again.

This is when everything falls into place. When darkness settles early and the wind is cold outside the windows, stepping into the warmth feels that much better. Candles on the tables, the murmur from the bar, and a glass that smells of dark fruit and spice.

The beer follows the season. The darker abbey ales come into their own when it is chilly outside – fuller, rounder, and with a warmth that suits autumn food perfectly. In the kitchen it is the time of stews, slow-cooked all day with dark beer in the sauce.

Grand Opening of the New Belgobaren

The renovation is finally complete. We are inviting you to a grand opening of the new Belgobaren on Saturday November 7. More information about the evening is coming shortly.

The Holidays at Belgobaren

As always, we serve our Christmas platter throughout December. Our popular New Year's celebration is of course happening again this year – a special New Year's menu has been put together and bookings are already open.

Otherwise it will be autumn just as it should be: the usual change of menu, rotating guest kegs from Belgian breweries in various sizes, lit candles, and all the other cosy things that come with the season.
