Privacy Policy & Booking Terms – Belgobaren (Beergarden AB)

Booking Terms

Cancellation

For parties of 8 or more, a fee of SEK 200 per unused seat will be charged if the reservation is cancelled or the number of guests is reduced less than two hours before arrival. Cancellations for parties of 8 or more can only be made by phone to the restaurant at 08–24 66 40.

Outdoor Seating

It is not possible to reserve tables on the outdoor terrace.

Arrive on Time

The reservation expires if you have not arrived within 20 minutes of the booking time. If we are unable to sell the table to other guests, you will be charged according to the "Cancellation" section above.

Privacy Policy

Belgobaren takes personal privacy very seriously. It is important for us to ensure proper security and integrity for the data our guests provide to us or that we obtain by other means. This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by Belgobaren and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data Controller

If you wish to obtain information about which personal data about you is processed by Beergarden AB, you may request this in writing at the address below. This is also where you should turn if you wish to request correction of inaccurate or misleading data. You have the right to file a complaint regarding Beergarden AB's handling of personal data with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Data Collection

When a guest orders or uses a service provided by Belgobaren, we collect certain personal data. We collect information that our guests provide via our website, by phone or by email. This includes information such as name, address, phone number, email address and other contact details.

We may also register information about our guests' preferences (for example dietary requirements) and about our guests' habits and interests – e.g. via social media – to the extent necessary to offer a better experience of Belgobaren's services and relevant offers.

Legal Basis

Belgobaren processes personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds under the GDPR:

Performance of a contract (Article 6.1.b) – for handling bookings and orders you make with us. Legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f) – to improve our services and communicate relevant offers. Consent (Article 6.1.a) – for marketing and newsletters, where we obtain your consent in advance.

Consent

By accepting this privacy policy, the guest consents to Belgobaren (Beergarden AB) collecting and processing personal data in accordance with these terms. If personal data relates to a person under 16 years of age, the guardian's consent is required.

Guests may at any time withdraw their consent to continued processing (not retroactively) of personal data for marketing purposes by contacting Belgobaren at linda@belgobaren.se. Belgobaren will then cease such processing. Please note that withdrawal of consent does not affect processing based on other legal grounds, e.g. fulfilment of a booking you have made, but may result in certain services not functioning as intended.

Where We Store Personal Data

Belgobaren stores personal data in accordance with these terms and applicable legislation. Belgobaren may transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA if we engage a subcontractor in such a country. To the extent this occurs, Belgobaren is responsible for ensuring that relevant data transfer agreements are established.

Belgobaren uses personal data to: Administer, provide, develop and maintain the services we offer. Handle bookings and orders. Contact guests via email or phone regarding booking status or information related to a visit. Diagnose errors and optimise the technology behind our services. Facilitate future bookings. Analyse and improve the quality and experience of our services. Inform guests about offers and campaigns from Belgobaren and our partners. Send newsletters (with consent). Analyse statistics and user behaviour related to our services.

Who Does Belgobaren Share Data With?

Belgobaren may disclose personal data to third parties, such as the police or other authorities, if it concerns investigation of a crime or if Belgobaren is otherwise obligated to do so by law or government decision.

Belgobaren may also disclose personal data to subcontractors engaged to provide or market our services. Such subcontractors process personal data solely on behalf of Belgobaren and in accordance with Belgobaren's instructions.

How Long Does Belgobaren Keep Your Personal Data?

Your personal data is stored in our customer database. The database is regularly cleaned of outdated data or data that is no longer needed for us to fulfil our obligations to you as a customer. In order to offer you a high level of service and communicate relevant offers, we may however store your data for up to seven years from your last visit with us.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address in order to send you information about events, seasonal menus and offers. The newsletter is sent via our email provider Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), which processes your email address on our behalf in accordance with GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or by contacting us at info@belgobaren.se.

In Case of Transfer

If Belgobaren sells, reorganises or otherwise transfers all or part of our business, guests' personal data may be transferred in connection with this.
